Space-time fortress Macross SDR-04-MkXII phalanx plastic kit 1/72 scale

The highly anticipated "Phalanx," the first model in the 1/72 scale Destroid series, is finally set to make its debut. This kit features a snap-fit design, eliminating the need for adhesives, unlike its predecessors, "Tomahawk" and "Defender." Each joint incorporates poly parts, allowing for enhanced movement and flexibility.

To provide greater detail and depth, "Phalanx" has been enhanced with an independent setting image created in collaboration with Liquid Stone, even though detailed up images were not available. The prototype of the model has been meticulously crafted under the supervision of designer Mr. Kazuaki Miyattaki to ensure a cohesive finishing touch that aligns perfectly with the other models in the Destroid lineup.

This model also boasts engaging features comparable to the existing lineups, including the unique capability to open and close the cockpit, as well as the missile pods, enriching the overall playability and realism of the design.

Manufactured by Wave, the kit is based on a concept from the classic 1982 series by BIG WEST. It is important to note that this plastic model requires assembly and painting; thus, separate tools and paint are necessary for completion.

The model measures an impressive 18 cm, making it a significant and attractive addition to any collection for enthusiasts and fans of the series alike.
