Hasegawa 1/72 VF-0A/S Model for Collectors

This 1/72 scale plastic model replicates the VF-0 assault variant known as the "VF-0A/S w/Ghost," which features prominently in the OVA "Macross Zero." The VF-0A/S w/Ghost is designed as a "battle specification" aircraft, utilizing compatible parts for enhanced performance. While an additional weapon pack for the VF-0 was developed, it unfortunately was not ready in time for the climactic "bird" battle near Sea on Mayan Island.

On the opposite side, the Anti-Integration Alliance's SV-51 was anticipated to incorporate a jet booster, whereas the VF-0 was limited to conformal missile and fuel tank attachments on both engine nacelles. Due to time constraints and incomplete components, the aircraft's situation was challenging. However, the innovative ASUKA mechanics stepped in with a courageous design, creating a booster attachment for the back of the VF-0 to complete the QF-2200 Ghost A Type. This modified configuration exists uniquely as one unit each of the S and A types.

This plastic model requires assembly and painting to achieve the final appearance. It is important to note that adhesives, tools, and paints are necessary for this process. The term "Plastic Model" is a registered trademark belonging to the Japan Plastic Model Industrial Cooperative Association.

This model is designed specifically for boys and is recommended for ages 15 and older.
